Cooking Fever: Restaurant Game App Reviews

5/8/16: Deleted game for the second and last time. Will not play anymore. Yes its colorful and fast. Despite the few improvements its still too much headache to get gems to upgrade restaurants and kitchens. The casino is still a joke giving one a handful of diamonds daily. As one levels up the amount of diamonds won stays the same. And the new challenges arent winnable unless you have enough diamonds to play it as well as buy upgrades to meet the goals at each stage. And even if you want to by gems the prices are ridiculous because the gems wont buy much. The company is greedy and knows you have to buy to get the most out of the game. I am done with Nordcurrent - too many other games to play that offer more bang for the buck. Update: re-loaded game today after finally dumping Sims FreePlay which became too much boring in the routine. Started reading Facebook posts that show Nordcurrent just might be listening to the gamers....finally. Jury is still out with regards to the improvements with this game. If I begin to hit walls again with progression because of lack of gems I will simply delete it...again. This game really has a lot of potential so I hope the creators stop being so shortsighted. Nordcurrent: if you want fans to actually spend real money consider lowering your prices on the packages. I mean who wants to spend 10 bucks on 300 gems...really? That is not enough to furnish 1/2 a restaurant. I dont mind spending money to support games but there is a limit to my support. ---------------------------------------------- Downloaded in 1/15 and removed several months later for the same reasons I continue to read about on this site as well as the games Facebook page. I stopped in the store to browse and thought I would see if anyone had posted new info about changes in the game. To all who continue to write about the lack of gems and the inability to progress without them do yourselves a favor and simply delete this game. The creators are not listening to you. I am willing to bet they are laughing at all of the posts...even the ones on Facebook. You will have to spend money to really get ahead in this game and your money wont go far. Who really has time to find tricks to accrue more than 2 gems per day? You work too hard to really have fun with CF. Find another game to play that is fun and entices you to keep playing. Personally I dont mind spending money on a game but I will only support those that offer me chances to earn stuff. And with CF you dont get much for your money. As long as you play while you complain the creators of this game wont make changes. This game has huge potential to be one of the best in the store. But as long as the makers dont listen to their fan base they will remain shortsighted. There are simply too many games that are worth supporting....consider shoving this one aside and finding one. As long as there are no changes I know I wont download and play this one again.

Theres no way to get FREE diamonds, I guess this is expected because developers wants money. Although the game is fun to play, but you need lots of money to upgrade stuff. G.

The best!

I have been playing for over a year and still love it. At level 310. Yes I have paid a little real $, but well worth it. The game never fails. The only thing I dont like is the slot machine. Just give the gems for daily play, or make a daily bonus for cooking fast. Cooking fever is just fun and fast paced. Wish there were more levels to play or competitions. Gets a little repetitive without updates of new sites to cook at. Overall very fun.

You cant go further without diamonds, that you can get enough not paying.

Its a cool game for when youre really bored.

Cooking fever is a very fun game. Its so exciting and challenging. I would have given five stars but the ask for way to many gems and you have to buy a lot to get through some of the restaurants.

Fun game for both my sons and myself.

Dont bother doing the challenges. I have noticed that you need coins to even make it to a new level at a certain point in the challenge. You will need coins to purchase those side items like cupcakes. Without that you will probably not make it to the next level. I found myself going to the casino multiple times during the challenge. And I have yet to complete a challenge for that reason.

I have been playing this game for about 6 months now. Yes, its fun. But its too frustrating to be worth it. The fact that I can start with 200,000 coins in the casino, spin the stupid thing for two hours betting 500 coins each time, and get absolutely NO DIAMONDS is absolute B.S. It happens all the time. Ive deleted the game.

After the first restaurant its so hard to upgrade anything cause you need gems for it and you only get gems when you level up but how do I level up if I cant beat anything cause I cant upgrade. Otherwise its fun
